Return & Refund Policy

Return Window

Our return window is 14 days from the date your order is marked as delivered. Return requests submitted within this 14-day period will be eligible for review and processing.

 

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds:

1. Items purchased during a sale

2. Monogrammed or personalized items

 

Return Policy

Eligible items may be returned in accordance with our return policy and exclusions listed above. To qualify for a full refund, returned items must be in their original packaging and include all tiles, accessories, and included components in like-new condition.

Opened or used items may not be eligible for return unless the item is found to be defective or damaged upon arrival.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective item, or an error on our part. In such cases, return shipping costs will be covered or reimbursed by us.

 

If returned items are not sent back in their original packaging, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be deducted from the refund amount.

Packages that are refused by the customer or returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information may be subject to return shipping charges and restocking fees.

If your return request is approved, we will provide a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without prior return authorization may not be accepted.

 

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we want to make it right. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at customerservice@modernmahjongset.com with the following:

l Your order number

l    A description of the issue

l    Clear photos of the item(s) and packaging

Once reviewed, we will work with you to find the best resolution, which may include a replacement, reshipment, or refund. Requests submitted outside the 7-day window may not be eligible for resolution.

Please note that the unopened requirement does not apply to defective items discovered upon opening. We will cover the cost of return shipping for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

 

Exchange Policy

If you would like to request an exchange, please contact us by email. We will be happy to assist you as long as the item meets all eligible return requirements, including being unused, in its original packaging, and with all shrink-wrapped tiles and accessories included. Opened or used items may not qualify for a full refund unless the item is defective or damaged.

 

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund to your account.
